Branson celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month during the first week of October, 2023, with a series of events and speakers. It was a joy to welcome the Recycled Orchestra of Cateura to campus as part of the celebration!

Featured in the 2015 documentary film, Landfill Harmonic, this youth orchestra from Asunción, Paraguay plays instruments entirely made from scrap materials collected from their local Cateura landfill. They play classical and rock and have performed internationally with American musicians such as Stevie Wonder and Metallica.

In the evening, our community enjoyed their dynamic, interactive concert! Thank you for coming to Branson and sharing your music and stories with us!
